Data Management Committee
The purpose of the Data Management Committee is to provide support to the HMIS Lead Agency and recommendations to the TVCoC Governing Council related to the HMIS regulations and standards as set forth by HUD and other federal grants.
Homelessness Awareness & Advocacy Committee
To challenge the stigma surrounding homelessness, improve awareness of factors which contribute to and the trauma incurred from homelessness, promote the Coalition and its mission, improve membership, recruitment of new membership, build community investment, and advocate for those in need.
To create a landlord directory in the CoC region by identifying landlords who will work with the homeless population and quantify available units. Address any unmet housing needs by county, work with Region II Housing Facilitator by exploring funding streams to enhance housing opportunities.
Point In Time Committee
This committee is responsible for scheduling the PIT, developing PIT instruments, recruiting PIT coordinators, gathering the completed information from each county and assembling it into usable formats and disseminating it to the CoC for review and planning purposes. Their role is to coordinate the activities necessary for conducting a comprehensive and accurate count of sheltered and unsheltered persons according to HUD guidelines and best practices at least once every year.
