With below-freezing temperatures moving in, warming centers are opening throughout East Tennessee to provide safe shelter from the cold. We’ll be sharing all warming centers in TVCH’s 12-county service area, as well as additional centers across East Tennessee. All shelters listed are available to operate as of November 11, 2025 based on their opening criteria, but we’ll continue to update this post weekly with new dates, times, and locations.

    Doors Close between 8 & 9:30 pm. Pets (permitted at all location) must stay under the control of owner: crates available. No ID or background checks. Guests must be able to accomplish activities of daily living independently.
